Im Rahmen einer Stadtentwicklungsmaßnahme sollen die Freianlagen im Bereich der Lahnuferpromenade bzw. des
Radfernweges R7 in Wetzlar umgestaltet werden. Im Rahmen einer ersten Umgestaltungsmaßnahme wurde bereits
ein Teilabschnitt flußaufwärts zwischen Inselstraße, entlang der neuen ´Kranhäuser´ bis zur Taubensteinbrücke fertig
gestellt. Im hier beschriebenen Leistungsumfang ist die zweite Umgestaltungsmaßnahme der Freianlagen zwischen
Inselstraße und Freibad enthalten (siehe Lageplan 2-5-1-01 Übersichtslageplan BA II im Anlagenverzeichnis)
