Die denkmalgeschützte Fassade an der RS Gerhart-Hauptmann-Schule soll im Sommer 2026 teilsaniert werden. Die Keramikfliesen und Außendämmung der Fassade an Trakt D sollen hierfür bis auf den Rohbau einschließlich Befestigungsmittel und Putz abgebrochen werden:
