Das Museum für Naturkunde beabsichtigt, die Digitalisierung seiner vielfältigen Sammlungsobjekte zu beschleunigen und zu standardisieren. Im Zuge dieses Projekts soll ein modularer Tracking-Prototyp entwickelt werden, der in unterschiedlichen musealen und kulturellen Einrichtungen zum Einsatz kommen kann. Das Ziel ist, eine benutzerfreundliche, skalierbare und nachhaltige Lösung zu schaffen, die Veränderungen in Insektenkästen automatisiert erkennt und dokumentiert. Das System soll so konzipiert sein, dass es perspektivisch auch auf andere Sammlungstypen übertragbar ist.
